How to arrive. The Alpe di Siusi cable car is open from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. All registered participants of the ski marathon can use the cable car for free. Spectators can use the Alpe di Siusi cableway from 6 p.m. on. From 5 p.m. the street to the Alpe di Siusi is accessible by car. On the Alpe di Siusi there is a reserved parking lot for the participants of the Moonlight Classic Ski Marathon.
Competition office. You can pick up your starting number in the competition office on the Alpe di Siusi (near the start/finish line) on February 6, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on February 7, 2012 from 10 a.m. on. Late registration is possible until 6 p.m. (in cash).
Programme.
> 7.30 p.m.: Starting line-up
> 8 p.m.: Mass start for the 6th Moonlight Classic on the Alpe di Siusi
> Ca. 8.30 p.m.: The first participants will cross the start/finish line for the first time.
> Ca. 8.50 p.m.: The first athletes of the 20 km long track will reach the finish.
> Ca. 9.40 p.m.: The winner of the South Tyrol Moonlight Classic Alpe di Siusi will enter the home straight.
> Ca. 10 p.m.: Award ceremony
Useful information. Track inspection and training is possible from 8 a.m. The Toko society offers waxing service and suggestions near the start/finish area. Changing room and possibility to take a shower in the firemen's hall.
